What is the first impression when people check out your website or marketing materials? Is your messaging clear? Most markets are saturated with products and services. There is a lot of competition for your attention. Your prospects need to know right away, “What’s in it for me.”
Start with the “What’s in it for me” question. It’s not about your firm and how successful it is or how your product or service is superior to your competitors. Tell your customers how your company will serve them and their needs. Don’t use jargon or fancy words.
Be Clear. Let your customers be your guide.
Ask for testimonials from your customers or review the testimonials you’ve received. You will likely find in your customer’s own words how you solved their problem or met their need. Use the examples to create your messaging. Remember, the most memorable messaging speaks directly to the customer.
